Customs Duties & Import Taxes

Items shipped outside Japan may be subject to customs duties and import taxes (VAT/GST) in the destination country or region. The table below summarizes estimates for our main shipping destinations.

Our policy

  • Customs duties, import taxes, value-added tax (VAT/GST), customs clearance fees and other import-related costs are borne by the customer (except for shipments to Taiwan).
  • These costs are charged separately from the item price and shipping fee, typically by the carrier or the destination's customs authority when you receive your order. They are not included in the payment made at checkout.
  • For shipments to Taiwan, we bear the customs duties and import taxes.
  • Tax rates and exemption thresholds are set by each country or region and may change without notice. The actual amount is determined by the customs authority based on the declared value and other factors.
  • If you refuse to pay customs duties or do not accept delivery, please refer to Article 7 of our Refund Policy.
